It
is with great pride that Block House is a master distributor
for Arc International and its product lines.
Established
for almost 2 centuries and headquartered in Arques,
France - Arc International is a world leader
in the tabletop market; producing over
6 million items per day, and exporting more than 80%
of its production all around the world.

|
Established
in 1825, the Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques became Arc
International in September 2000. A fitting name
for a group whose products have been applauded throughout
the world!
And
for a very good reason… Arc International manufactures
glass and lead crystal items on an industrial scale,
while preserving the tradition inherited from the Master
glassblowers - the assurance of quality !
Today,
Arc International
-
Has a turnover of $1.9 billion
- Employs more than 16 000 employees worldwide
- Produces more than 5 million items/day
- Launches 800 new products/year
- Distributes products in more than 160 countries
- Works 365 days a year 24 hours a day.

|
A
solid portfolio of 7 renowned brands allow Arc International to market its products through
specific distribution channels such as mass distribution,
assisted retail sales, food service, and of course -
special markets groups. While Block House places a particular emphasis on products
from 5 of these brands (Luminarc, Cristal d'Arques,
JG Durand, Mikasa, Studio Nova), some products
are available through special order, and we encourage
you to contact us with your requirements. |
|
Note: In September
2000, Arc International announced the purchase
of Mikasa, an expert in terms of design,
development and marketing of tableware and decorative
products. Arc International owns an 85% share
stake in the company.
Particularly sensitive to the purity of shapes and to fine
detail, Mikasa found a natural ally
in the JG Durand brand, which, since
it was launched in 1983, has cultivated a taste for
subtle detail and a flawless finish. With so much
in common, the JG Durand brand has now
become part of the Mikasa collection
and its name will gradually disappear.
