pristine®
represents a collaborative effort between Block House
and some of the world's finest producers of glass and
crystal. We bring to the marketplace an outstanding
collection of products that are truly unique to the
industry, while at some of the most competitive prices
available. Additionally, all of the optical
crystal items in pristine® are produced from
only the finest K-9 raw material available, while cut
and polished by some of the world's most skilled craftspeople.
Optical
Crystal is a lead-free, colorless, optical quality
material that is considered to be one of the finest
crystal products available. The quality is so pure and
flawless that it is used in the optics industry for
a variety of applications such as prescription eye glasses,
telescopes, and microscopes. Contrary to popular belief,
optical crystal is a relatively soft material and hence
it takes very well to a surface or deep abrasive or
laser etching process.
Jade
Glass is known for its beautiful, rich jade
green tint when viewed from the edges of the item. The
color originates from the lead-free, iron ore content
in the silica sand used to produce the glass. The color
deepens to a rich emerald green as the glass is viewed
from its thickest edge.

Optical Crystal Orders
In
addition to our stock pristine® items, your
inquiries for custom-made pieces are welcome.
We specialize in cutting, polishing and beveling optical
crystal, jade glass and poured glass to your requirements.
Please contact
us with your requirements. Here are some guidelines:
- Standard
minimum order: $2500 or 100 pieces (depending on our
production capability, exceptions can be made).
- Samples:
Can be produced from artwork or actual product. Production
lead time is 5-7 days, not including transit time
from the factory. Charge is $50 per piece, plus
quoted unit price and applicable setup charges. Sample
charge is refunded if product results in confirmed
order.
- 50%
deposit required to proceed on any production. We
do not accept any returns on product unless it is
the result of a defect or production errors.
