History
No company can survive, let alone thrive, for more than one hundred years unless
it is able to adapt with the times, recognize new opportunities and innovate to
capitalize on them. Beginning in 1908 as a manufacturer of metal cabinets, hampers
and pantry ware, M. Block diversified into distribution when steel became rationed during
World War II. Since the early 1970's we have focused exclusively on distribution;
refining, improving and strengthening our services as the times dictated.
Today M. Block stands alone as the most complete and progressive supplier of
warehousing, distribution and retail support services. Our unique approach of
combining traditional 3PL services together with value added support services -
all wrapped around a unified state-of-the-art IT platform provides manufacturers
and retailers with the most complete and comprehensive distribution supply chain
infrastructure available.
